Between $14.99 and $15.00 the fee jumps from $2.95 to $3.00, so a $14.99 sale keeps 4 cents more than a $15 one.

How it works

Poshmark charges one fee per sale, on the price the buyer paid for the item after any offer or discount. Below $15 the fee is a flat $2.95; from $15 it is 20% of the sale price, so you keep 80%. The buyer pays the shipping label separately. If you offer a shipping discount, you pay that part. Since 1 October 2025, sellers with a Texas return address also have a Texas Seller Fee Tax deducted: Texas sales tax (6.25% state plus local) on 80% of Poshmark's fee.

Worked examples

  1. A $10 top: under $15, so the fee is a flat $2.95 and you keep $7.05.
  2. A $100 bag: the fee is 20% × $100 = $20.00, so you keep $80.00. If a buyer offers $80 and you accept, the fee is $16.00 and you keep $64.00.
  3. Poshmark's Texas example: on a $100 sale the fee is $20.00, and 8.25% tax on 80% of it (8.25% × $16.00) is $1.32, so a Texas seller keeps $78.68.

How much does Poshmark take from a sale?

A flat $2.95 when the sale is under $15, and 20% when it is $15 or more. On a $50 sale the fee is $10.00 and you keep $40.00.

Who pays shipping on Poshmark?

The buyer pays the shipping label. If you choose to offer a shipping discount, you pay that discount, and it comes out of your earnings.

What is the Texas Seller Fee Tax on Poshmark?

Since 1 October 2025, sellers with a Texas return address have Texas sales tax deducted on 80% of Poshmark's fee. With a combined 8.25% rate, a $100 sale costs $1.32 more.

Is it better to price at $14.99 or $15?

At $14.99 you pay the flat $2.95 and keep $12.04; at $15.00 you pay 20% ($3.00) and keep $12.00. Above about $15 the 20% applies to every dollar.

How much should I list at to keep a set amount?
