How we make money

Last updated 20 October 2026

The short answer

SellerFeeCheck is free to use and has no paid plan. It is paid for by advertising and by a small number of clearly labelled partner links.

On the date above, the site shows no ads and no partner links yet. This page will change on the day either one starts.

Ads

We plan to show ads served by Google AdSense. An ad sits below the result or between sections of the article, never between the inputs of a calculator, and never pushes the calculator off the screen or makes the page jump while you type.

Where the law asks for consent before ad cookies are used, we will ask first. The privacy policy will list the cookies before any ad appears.

Partner links

Some pages may link to tools sellers use, such as bookkeeping, crosslisting or shipping-label software, through the tool maker's partner (affiliate) programme. If you sign up through one of these links, the tool maker may pay us a commission. You pay the same price.

Every partner link says "Partner link" next to it. We link only to a product we would point a seller to anyway.

What money never changes

Every fee rate comes from the platform's own published fee page, linked on the calculator with the date we checked it. No platform, advertiser or partner can pay to change a rate, a result, a worked example or the order of the marketplace comparison, which is ranked only by what you keep.

We do not sell reviews, rankings or placements.

Not affiliated

SellerFeeCheck is not affiliated with or endorsed by any marketplace or payment company named on the site. If one of them ever becomes a partner, the pages about it will say so.
